Tune in as Fr. Lynch and Fr. Lemire interview special guest Dr. José Pereira, who is Chief of Palliative Care Programs at the Elisabeth Bruyere Hospital in Ottawa. At one-time, euthanasia was un-thought-of. Today, more and more people are speaking about it as if it’s an acceptable alternative. At the same time, even if euthanasia is not an issue, there’s a need for us, and medical staff, to be aware that services and help are available to relieve pain and suffering. That’s where good and knowledgeable palliative care comes in… and we have the right person with us today to help us address these issues.

Priests for Life Canada will be hosting “The Pro-Life Hour” on a monthly basis, airing in the Southern Ontario region on the first Tuesday of each month from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Radio Teopoli, AM530 and on the Web at www.teopoli.com and repeated randomly thereafter.

Young Adults New Year’s Retreat 2011/2012

Hello Everyone!

A retreat is the perfect way to end a year, especially one which aims at rediscovering the essence of what it means to be a Catholic in our world today. Every year, Youth Teams of Our Lady organizes a young adult retreat which aims at rekindling the spark of faith in our lives, so that you might begin the New Year with a special and deeper relationship with Our Lord and His Blessed Mother.

You are all invited to join us on a 5 day spiritual journey with Fr. Paul Burchat, a Madonna House Priest, that will give you time to break away from the commotion of everyday life, reflect on what God is asking of you, feed your soul through the Sacraments, and rediscover the wealth of love waiting for you in the arms of Christ.

The topic for this retreat will be on the spiritual life and how it affects the other aspects of ones life. It will cover many sub-topics such as prayer, the Eucharist, Rosary, meditating, dating and much more. There is not a lot of time and space is limited so please sign up asap.
